Today I would like to write about "Potbelly", a popular sandwich chain in the United States. There are several stores in D.C. as well.
オーダーを受けてから作るので、できたてのホットサンドイッチが食べられます。
I like the toasty warm sandwich on the Potbelly Sandwich Shop. Every sandwich on menu is made to order.
[注文方法]
① 黒いボードに書いてあるメニューからサンドイッチを選びます。
② カウンターで、パンを選び、サンドイッチを注文します。全粒粉か普通の白いパン、また、大きさも大小あります。注文後、焼いてくれます。
③ 横にずれて、作っている人に挟む野菜やトッピングを尋ねられます。
[How to Order]
First, choose between multigrain wheat or regular bread. Then, choose size from Originals ("regular" size) or Bigs (30% bigger). Either one can be ordered on "Thin Cut" bread (1/3 less bread).
Their toppings include: add Mayo, Mustard, Hot Peppers, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato, Pickle, Oil and Italian seasoning - or don't. It's up to you to make your sandwich the way you like it.
My preference is Wreck, which contains salami, roast beef, turkey, ham & Swiss cheese.

こんがりと焼かれたパンは、外はカリッと、中は柔らかすぎず固すぎず、ちょうどよい食感です。値段もお手ごろ価格です。
日本にもある某サンドイッチチェーンより、ずっとおいしいと思います。
日本にもあったらいいのに。
